Devastating blow to the TimberWolves. Ricky Rubio, their prized rookie point guard, suffered a left knee injury before a collision with Kobe Bryant. The injury did not look good, and he is set for an upcoming MRI. Losing Rubio would be a massive blow to the somewhat surging Wolves, and an even bigger blow to the franchise itself. Kevin Love was undoubtedly upset about the injury, as Rubio has been fantastic as a rookie this season. The Wolves do have a good replacement in J.J. Barea, but Rubio is irreplaceable on the scheme of what the Wolves have been this year.
