“Let it fly” is certainly an appropriate way to describe the way Shane Battier has been shooting the ball in the NBA Finals. In the last three contests against the Thunder, he is averaging 14.3 points on an impossible 73.7 percent shooting (14-19), including 73.3 percent from the three-point line (11-15). Suffice to say, it’s a remarkable turnaround for someone that shot so poorly that the last three games have improved his overall shooting to 37.5 percent in 14 postseason games thus far. The continued shooting prowess of Battier could be the unexpected key factor in the outcome of this series. Be sure to click Battier’s link to watch his articulate interview.
