Blake Griffin, the human highlight film 2.0, is no longer with Team USA due to his knee injury. This means other amazing athletes on the team will have to step up their dunking games for our pleasure, and LeBron James provided a glimpse of it during Saturday’s scrimmage.
We’ve seen James steal the ball, give it up to Dwyane Wade in transition, who then throws it back to James for an alley-oop a countless number of times. Now, we get to see him make the same dazzling play with his NBA Finals nemesis Kevin Durant, which is an excitement we won’t get to experience beyond this summer.
