Jordan Craig Hill
The Lakers were hit with some bad news on Monday, as backup forward-center Jordan Hill was unexpectedly diagnosed with a herniated disk one day after playing 20 minutes in the preseason game against the Warriors.
This is unfortunate news for Hill, who is expected to be a reliable big for the team after showing much improvement during the playoffs last season.
Although Hill shared some positive thoughts in his tweet, the severity of his injury is still unclear. As reported by Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports, his situation will be re-evaluated in a week. For now, he will join Dwight Howard, who has been sidelined since early April due to a herniated disk, in street clothes.
