Congratulations to “ajhoff32” for scoring 309 points to win the $325 first prize in our $1,500 tournament last night. My team struggled in 69th among the 167 entries, as bargain picks Alexey Shved and Moe Harkless were disappointing.
Down $16 now from the original $100 bankroll in Week 4, I’ll have to wait for tomorrow to get even, as there are no NBA games tonight. Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends and your loved ones.
On Friday, there’s another DFBBC qualifier. The Daily Fantasy Basketball Championship is a $200,000 extravaganza. Each week you can win one of 15 trips to Las Vegas for the live final, where the winner gets $50,000 in cash and even last place wins $1,500. There’s another $5,000 paid out in consolation prizes in each qualifier. It costs $10 to enter, but you can’t win the DFBBC if you’re not in it.

PG Damian Lillard MIN@POR $6,800
PG Kyle Lowry TOR@DET $6,700
SG James Harden NY@HOU $7,200
SG Arron Afflalo CLE@ORL $5,500
SF Kevin Durant OKC@BOS $9,900
SF Andre Iguodala GS@DEN $5,800
PF Kenneth Faried GS@DEN $6,700
PF Markieff Morris NO@PHO $4,900
C Roy Hibbert SA@IND $6,300
Harden is over the flu, Lowry’s foot seems healthy enough, Markieff Morris was impressive in his first start and Hibbert has turned it around lately. I also like the Nuggets, who have been much better in their last couple of games.
