Talk about a bad prediction.
Magic Johnson, despite all the criticizing he has done as of late about the Los Angeles Lakers, apparently believed the team would somehow beat the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night.
The Knicks were 8-0 at home heading into the game, while the Lakers – losers of five of their last six games – were an atrocious 2-7 on the road. With Pau Gasol and Steve Nash out once again, it was a tall task in order for Los Angeles to steal one from a red-hot Knicks team, and that proved to be the case as they lost 116-107 for their fourth consecutive loss.
