Metta World Peace has been a tweeting machine through much of the NBA playoffs after his Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated in four games against the San Antonio Spurs in the first round. He has been upbeat and passionate about what has transpired over the past month and, as usual, expressing himself in ways few would. Here’s what he had to say on Wednesday night:
“I want the sock mike miller shot the three in. How amazing was that. It reminded me a a good movie. I cried during the replay.” (due to technical issues, click here to see tweet)
Yeah. World Peace is not a sap, so he probably did not actually cry after watching the replay of Mike Miller doing this (What is up with Miller and his tendency to lose his shoe in big games?):
“I’m up because I don’t want to miss the game. And I don’t know what time it starts. Ill just stay at coffee bean . My favorite coffee shop!” (due to technical issues, click here to see tweet)
Metta is likely also exaggerating about not sleeping due to not knowing the schedule of Game 7 between the Heat-Spurs, but like most of us, he appears to be genuinely excited to watch the finale of the series and the season on Thursday night.
