There’s always something with the New York Knicks. Some kind of drama.
And, it doesn’t matter who the source is. Knicks’ drama finds its way onto the front page whether it is coming from the bottom or the top.
That’s all part of the deal when you’re a marquee team playing in the biggest market in America.
Knicks owner James Dolan is no novice to making headlines.
New York Daily News’ Knicks beat writer Frank Isola has the Tweets.
And the beat goes on RT@Deadspin: Stephen A. Smith says (off the air) that James Dolan wanted to trade Iman Shumpert: http://t.co/vFvoF1MPTF

I don’t believe the story for a minute because it suggests that Mr. Dolan is vindictive. Him? No way. They’ve got the wrong guy.

The story he’s referring to comes from ESPN’s Sunday Conversation with Dwight Howard conducted by Stephen A. Smith.
Howard sat down with Smith to discuss why he chose to sign with the Houston Rockets rather than the Los Angeles Lakers. However, in an off-air comment, Smith opened up to Howard about James Dolan’s plans to trade guard Iman Shumpert.
Of course, Isola was being sarcastic. This definitely would not be the first time that Dolan has thought to do something that might be considered a bad idea.
Remember Isaiah Thomas’ tenure with the Knicks?
Isola continues to lay into the Knicks owner.
Daniel says
Stephen A. and Frank Isola…. beacons of truth.
Yeah right!
