The best steak in the world is served at a place called the Five O’Clock club on the near West Side in Milwaukee.
The place is in Jeffrey Dahmer’s old neighborhood, they take your order at the bar, then they seat you, and you feast like a Roman on the perfect concoction of blackened sizzle on the outside and tender perfection on the inside (Yes, I know, I also just described Beyonce). But the picture to your left is from my joint in Milwaukee.)
That is my opinion, anyway, and there are certain members of the Milwaukee Bucks’ front office who will attest to my 6-star rating.
But great steak (and not so great steak) is served all over the country and all over the world (Yes, Argentina, I haven’t forgotten about you), and everyone has their own opinion.
Well, those opinions on good and bad steak were flowing on Twitter last night, both good and bad, as the dog days of summer dragged on everywhere but on this site, where we published our Top 10 free agent signings.
We will start with the bad, and it should be no surprise that it came from a chain restaurant. Maybe the steak was OK, but the guy wielding the knives was apparently not up to speed.

And then we move to the other end of the spectrum — the good stuff.
Just had the best steak in my life! Premium Japanese Wagyu 16oz Steak!!! From Boa SteakHouse

It should be noted that Boa (with locations in Santa Monica and West Hollywood) lists the cost of a Wagyu steak at MP — Market Price.
Wagyu steak is a variation of Kobe beef.
And speaking of Kobe, y’all saw the video of him running on the treadmill? Link to it right here.
