The hit NBA video game franchise from Take-Two Interactive’s 2K Sports is soon to hit the shelves.
NBA 2K14 will be available for purchase for both current and next-gen Sony and Microsoft based consoles as well as PC on October 1, 2013.
As usual, players are beginning to get curious about their NBA 2K player ratings. A few players have already had their ratings publicized, two of them have spoken out about theirs.
Portland Trail Blazers rookie guard CJ McCollum encouraged to find out his rating.
I was blessed with a 73 rating on 2k confirmed by @Ronnie2K . Not a bad start to my 2k legacy. Look forward to improving it

Utah Jazz rookie Rudy Gobert was less fortunate.
My rating in 2K14 is a 53, not easy to be french lol

Im gonna have to turn it up

Hopefully, Rudy was talking about improving his play in the forthcoming season or, at least, through playing hard in the video game. It would be quite unbecoming of him were he promoting the idea of frivolously boosting his rating in the game—no one likes cheaters.
A slew of other players’ ratings have been released via Twitter.

It should be expected that LeBron James would net the rare 99-rating.
Steph Curry and Paul George are closing in on the elites, both netting 88-ratings.
It will be interesting to see how they rate players coming back from extensive time off due to injury, guys like Greg Oden and Andrew Bynum.
Between 2K and Ronnie 2K, they are sure to announce many more ratings in the coming days.
If you are a 2K fan, be sure to pre-order your copy soon.
