Real beef or a publicity stunt?
Kevin Durant chatted with Cinesport’s Noah Coslov about various topics, including the omission of his former teammate James Harden from the list of Top 10 players by Sports Illustrated. He proceeded to say that Dwyane Wade, who was No. 8 on the list, should be replaced by Harden without getting into the details on why he thinks that should be the case.
Wade apparently found out what was said by the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar and decided to post a reply on twitter with the following photograph:

Durant then replied indirectly with this tweet:

The banter between the two is certainly fun, but it seems a bit staged. Is somebody planning on marketing this somehow? A motivational note to himself about what Durant said, then sharing it with the world? Hmmmm. The two have already done some Gatorade commercials together, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see some more developments on this front.

Wade dunked on Perkins in that 2012 finals wade already beat harden and K.D so I fill sorry for K.D nomatter how u look at it Wade own’s titles he’s a now N.B.A champion 3 times and a scoring title harden nor K.D have done none of this if this was 8 YRs ago this wouldent even b a topic Trust me wade would own harden butt hands down I still think wade is a better rebounder and wade Defence is better than harden’s
James – skepticism these days is completely understandable, but the only thing I had to ask in that interview was about his partnership with Degree. Nothing else was discussed before hand and I simply thought that list would make for a good close to the conversation.

Oh shut up. It’s not talking about their past accolades, it’s the CURRENT top 10, not the top 10 players of all time still in the league. KD HAS won scoring titles, and to top it off he and Harden are quite a bit younger than Wade. How the hell do you expect a young player to win a title that soon in today’s NBA. Just the fact that they made the finals speaks volumes about how good those players are.
