Devin Ebanks suspended two games

Dallas Mavericks forward Devin Ebanks has been suspended by the NBA for two games after pleading no contest to driving under the influence of alcohol, the NBA announced Monday. While a member of the Lakers, Ebanks was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles in November 2012. He signed with the Mavs this summer after spending his first three years in LA.
Lakers could make significant trade; look for young point guard
Posted at 10:21 AM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers may try to make a “substantial” trade before the regular season begins, a source tells Sam Amico of FOX Sports Ohio. Pau Gasol could be the centerpiece of a deal as he is reportedly far from untouchable. Gasol is in the last year of his contract with the Lakers that will pay him $19.3 million this season. He’s been involved in trade rumors since Chris Paul was still a member of the New Orleans Hornets. Although Gasol has been loyal to the Lakers, he recently said he is unwilling to take a pay cut to remain in LA.
Amico also reported the Lakers are on the lookout for a younger point guard who is a more potent scorer. Steve Nash will turn 40 in February and has seen his productivity decrease the past three seasons. It’s unclear if a trade bringing in a young guard would send Nash out of town.
Trivia Answer: Boston’s Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce in 2001-02.

You’re actually quoting and linking to Scam Shamico? What, was Baghdad Bob unavailable? He has no sources, he makes them up. He’s the worst kind of rumormonger, a talentless hack. A few years ago his fraudulent form of sports journalism got so off the rails, even Pete Vecsey skewered him.
