Tweet of the Day: NBA Halloween [2013 Edition]

Thursday brought with it Halloween, possibly most children’s favorite day of the year.

While it isn’t recognized as a national holiday of any sort—people still have to work and pay taxes, it is a day of fun for nearly everyone.

For most families, this means dressing kids in costumes and parading around the neighborhood searching for candy.

For NBA players (active and retired), it’s no different. Their kids want candy too. Heck, even players want to wear costumes and have fun [See: Tweet of the Night: NBA Players Are Getting Into The Halloween Spirit].

Some players enjoy kicking back with some scary flicks on the television.

Some, like many of us, go trick-or-treating with their kids.


Some take time to reminisce over past Halloween costumes.

While there are still games to be played (and broadcast) in the NBA, it doesn’t stop people from having fun.

Some players, generally rookies, are forced to wear things they shouldn’t.

And then you have the clever, funny guy that likes to spoil the plot of 18-year-old Simpsons episodes.

Have a safe and happy halloween everyone.
