Everyone has a mother.
Unless you were constructed by scientists in a lab or birthed in a pod to provide electricity for the machines, you have a mother.
And, for the most part, every mom is loved. Sure, there are bad mothers — like those that abandon, neglect, abuse or even kill their children. However, for those of us who were gifted the opportunity to be raised by good mothers, we love them very much.
NBA athletes are no different. And, like all moms, their moms have birthdays too.
Today just happened to be that special day for three NBA mothers. In a company with only 500 employees—equating to 500 mothers—in a calendar year with 365 days, having three moms celebrate their births on the same day seems like an uncommon occurrence.
Maurice Williams, DeAndre Jordan and James Harden all took to social media to express their gratitude to the women who gave them life and helped shape them into the men that they have all become.
Everybody wish my mom a happy bday today. She turn 29 today. Love u momma
