Tweet of the Night: Kevin Durant and Kendrick Perkins stir up two separate late-night Twitter dramas

For anyone who saw, it was more amusing than troubling.

After losing on the road 101-88 to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, Kevin Durant curiously posted a photo of himself hookah smoking – mostly to the delight of many fans.

He quickly deleted the tweet, claimed his phone was hacked, and took the matter very seriously:

Just what he needed: twitter drama after a tough loss on national television. One can only imagine what really happened, but teammate Nick Collison saw what went down and cleared Durant of any wrongdoing.

@Deadspin I saw the tweet come up on my timeline when he was outside the bus going through TSA security. He didn’t send it. Very weird.

Then came this random gem from Kendrick Perkins, who apparently had enough of beat writer Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman:
