If you haven’t heard about Canadian pop star Justin Bieber’s infamous DUI earlier this week, you must be living under a rock.
Early Thursday morning Bieber was pulled over while drag racing in Miami Beach. Police noticed he had been drinking and asked him to step out of the vehicle, upon doing so a small struggle ensued and he was placed under arrest. Bieber was later charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and using an invalid driver’s licence.
In a world of phones and tablets, it’s nearly impossible not to hear about this incident, and apparently the Miami Heat heard all about it.
According to Bruna Nessif of E! News, Bieber was denied access to the Heat’s Thursday night game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Bieber’s tickets were pulled last minute by the Heat because they didn’t want the particular brand of attention that his presence would inevitably attract.
Shorty after the story was published, Heat owner Micky Arison quickly denied the report with a tweet that has since been deleted.
The story quickly caught fire when NBA Legion tweeted the Heat took a much more intense approach.
The Heat have banned Justin Bieber from attending all home games.

NBA Legion failed to list any sources or links to back up the story so it’s likely a homegrown rumor.
We may never find out the truth behind these rumors.
Personally, I don’t think any of these reports are true. Banning a fan from attending a game for their personal matters seems odd.
