If the Splash Brothers age like wine, Golden State is in for an awesome ride.
At 49-years-olds combined, the duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have Warriors fans rockin’ Oracle Arena like it’s 2007 all over again.
Curry, who turns 26 in March, wished his running-mate a Happy 24th Birthday Saturday.
Happy Birthday to my backcourt mate and member of the Splash Brothers. Let's get this win. Lock in! #dubna… http://t.co/FXrENhCRAS

This is a tough combo to stop, just ask any coach who had to try and shut them down. Together, they average 43 points per game, higher than any other backcourt in the league.
They have built Golden State into a winning team, something longtime Warriors’ fans aren’t accustomed to. Since becoming the Golden State Warriors in 1971-1972, the team has made the playoffs just 12 times.
Besides the talent, they’re the funnest backcourt to watch. In one of the loudest buildings in the NBA, when Curry or Thompson hit a three the roof blows off Oracle.
The Warriors are 30-20 so far this season, with a considerable amount of rough patches along the way. Golden State has lost games they shouldn’t have, they’ve won a lot of grind-it-out games and won a lot of great games, too.
Coach Mark Jackson has his troops ready for another playoff run. Jackson is the perfect guy to steer this young team, he’s a very personal coach and holds great relationships with his players.
It’s hard to argue against the Warriors when it comes to potential, a solid starting five and a bench that continues to grow must make general manager Bob Myers happy. He and team owner Joe Lacob have done everything right in terms of bringing in enough talent to make this team successful. Remember when Golden State traded away Monta Ellis for Andrew Bogut and everyone booed Lacob while retiring Chris Mullins jersey? Who’s booing now?
There’s still a lot of question marks around this team. They still have a lot to prove, but they have time.
Keep this group together, keep them engaged and keep them hungry to win a championship – they will.
