Whew. What a long weekend?
Of course, you may have guessed, the weekend in question was the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend which culminated in a record breaking, high scoring game Sunday night.
Monday afternoon, a day after competing in the East’s 163-155 victory over the West in the All-Star Game, Miami Heat forward LeBron James took to social media to reminisce on how quickly time has flown by since he, teammate Dwyane Wade and New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony came into the National Basketball Association.

Twitter truncated James’ post on Instagram, which reads:
Man time sure does fly by! Happy and honored to still be apart of All-Star weekend with two of my brothers I came into the league with @dwyanewade & @carmeloanthony. #Blessed #ItsBeenElevenYearsSinceWeCameIntoThisAlreadyReally? #StriveForGreatness”
Interestingly enough, James fails to mention Miami Heat teammate and fellow 2003 NBA Draft selection, Chris Bosh.
That isn’t to say that LeBron doesn’t have love for Bosh. To be fair, the picture at the bottom featuring himself, Wade and Anthony, was taken with the three of them as the focal point of the photo. It’s not as if James purposefully cropped a picture to show the three of them.
One has to wonder, however, with both LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony set to opt out of their contracts at the end of the year, what is the likelihood that they may end up playing together somewhere?
