New York Knicks All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony, who has a shoe deal with Jordan brand sneakers and apparel, unveiled a new colorway to his latest signature shoe.
The new colorway brought on a lot of Twitter speculation among fans as to where Anthony, who is expected to opt out of his current contract with New York, may land in the offseason.

Red and black. Chicago Bulls? Perhaps the Miami Heat? Or, maybe even, the Portland Trail Blazers?
Anthony’s latest tweet has ramped up Twitter speculation with regards to his potential future as a 2014 free agent.
Is Carmelo Anthony trying to tell us something with this new color scheme on his Jordans Heat or Bulls? pic.twitter.com/rEcJQor17G

Jordan released a powder blue and orange colorway of the Melo M10, does that mean he’s going to sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder?
It is just a shoe.
Consider that the newest colorway is red and black because of the brand—Jordan. The classic Jordan sneakers have all been some variant of black and red. Sure, that is easily explained by the fact that Michael Jordan played for Chicago—for whom he won six NBA championships.
However, over the past almost 30 years of shoes, those colors have become iconic to the Jordan brand.
It only makes sense that the Melo M10 should have a colorway that shares the color scheme most iconic to its brand.
