The Miami Heat are set to face the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday for Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs, and LeBron James is badly itching to get back on the court.
ESPN showed a documentary on Thursday called 30 for 30: Bad Boys. It’s about the Detroit Pistons and what it took for Isiah Thomas and his team to win consecutive championships back in the dog days of the NBA.
The film captured the attention of plenty around the league, but perhaps no one more so than James, who was about as fired up as you’ll ever see on twitter:

Great 30 for 30 on the “Bad Boys”!!! S/O that whole squad mostly because the brotherhood they had for one another no matter what!!

Not that the documentary would actually help James be anymore motivated than he already should be, but Al Jefferson and the Bobcats probably aren’t thrilled to see a fired up version of James, seemingly ready to unleash his fury on them.

I felt that same fire last night for my Heat and hoped they would too! Glad to see they did because it’s our best chance. Just like those bad boys that went to 3 losing the first and winning back to back, we look a little sluggish. Unlike those same bad boys we don’t want to go out like that! Let’s keep this together and take no hostages. Leave it all out on that court! GO HEAT!
