It has been a tough couple of seasons for the 34-year-old Al Harrington, who has rarely played in stints with the Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards due to various knee injuries and subsequent surgeries. He played just 10 games for the Magic last season, and managed to play 34 games for the Wizards this season.
The veteran forward has played sparingly in the playoffs, but did the most he could when called upon. In Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers, Harrington made his presence felt with 11 points, six rebounds and three steals. He will now head into the summer as a free agent once again and hope to sign on with a contending team. He did appreciate the time with the Wizards and had the following to say:
Wanna thank WizNation for all the LOVE AND SUPPORT THIS SEASON!!!! Had A Great time in Your City! (cont) http://t.co/1emLbALF19

He also made sure to acknowledge the haters:
And to All the Haters. Get A Life! Internet Gangstaz. See us in the Street and want Autographs! #punks

Hilarious because it has to be at least partly true.
