If ‘Melo comes, Lin has to go in a trade — which Lin’s aware. Given ‘Melo-Lin history, understandable why Lin would be sensitive about it.

Rockets’ stance stands regarding a Jeremy Lin trade that they have teed up: they won’t pull the trigger until someone like Carmelo commits. — Sam Amick (@sam_amick) July 2, 2014
Marc J. Spears cited sources that verified that Anthony had a private conversation with Howard and Harden.
Rockets center Dwight Howard and James Harden had a good rapport with Carmelo & they all spent about 10 minutes talking alone,a source said.

Potentially adding more credibility to the championship potential of the Rockets’ roster is the confidence they have that they will retain restricted free agent forward Chandler Parsons, per Houston Chronicle writer Jonathan Feigen.
Interesting listening to Dwight after the Melo lunch talk about Parsons as certain to be back. “I don’t think it’s a question mark.”

His tour of the Lone Star State will conclude with a dinner meeting in Dallas with Mavericks owner Mark Cuban set to take place. Still, with as positive as the Rockets sound following their meeting and for all the optimism that Mavs star Dirk Nowitzki may have, Kenny Anderson doubts Anthony will relocate.

Lakers might be dark horse don’t sleep !

Man I would be shock as hell if Melo signs with the Rockets

With a dinner date with Cuban, a Thursday trip to Los Angeles to meet with the Lakers, whose contingent will be led by president Jeanie Buss (whose fiancé is NY Knicks president Phil Jackson), and return flight home to (eventually) sit down with Phil.
The final two stops on the Carmelo Anthony World Tour seem to almost be strategic in a very entertaining sense. Aside from the fact that both the Lakers and Knicks can offer a max contract—the major difference being the number of years they can offer, four or five, it remains to be seen if the two engaged NBA executives wage war with one another over a prized free agent?
A front-row seat to a potential lovers’ spat might be quite riveting, though it’s hard to imagine someone known as “The Zenmaster” arguing with anyone.

This photo link below proves Morey LIED about Beverley’s number on Dwight. Dwight’s banner didn’t have a number, it was covered by a ball. Proves one instance of the constant negative propaganda and twisted facts from the toxic Houston front office towards Jeremy Lin.

Typical low-IQ Lin haters are funny. Lin put up 12 and 6 playing next to the biggest ball hog in the league. His 3-pt% goes up every year, TO-avg goes down every year, he is top5 in the league in FG% at the rim and in pick and roll. Has a true shooting% of over 57%. His defensive rating is the same as Beverley’s and all his Synergy defensive PPP stats are BETTER than Beverley’s. He put up an elite 97 defensive rating as a starter in NY. He led the d-league in defensive rating. He was Golden State’s defensive specialist as a rookie. Typical low-IQ Lin haters have zero clue what they are talking about. Just lazy morons parroting negative false propaganda with a slice of r.acism and prejudice.
