It’s always fun to discuss who the very best is in the league, and you’ll always hear plenty of different opinions depending on who you ask.
The topic of interest heading into this season is the best backcourt duo. That’s quite understandable, given all the intriguing combination of talents around the league such as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, John Wall and Bradley Beal, Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters, Chris Paul and J.J. Redick, Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe, Patrick Beverley and James Harden and the list simply goes on and on. So who could or should be considered the best?
Again, it depends on who you ask. If you ask Beal and Wall, of course they believe they are the best. Ask Waiters if he agrees with their sentiment, though, and he’ll tell you that it’s nonsense.
Word got back to Wall about Waiters’ opinion, and here is what he had to say:
“You’ve got to win a playoff game first before you can talk,” Wall said. “You’ve gotta be a starter first.”
Some challenging words, indeed. Presumably after hearing what Wall said, here is how Waiters responded:
Lol!!!!!!

After getting a good laugh out of it, the shooting guard then shared a clip from one of his fans of his highlights against the Washington Wizards from last season:

The Cleveland Cavaliers play the Wizards on the road on Nov. 21. That’s a game to circle on our calendars after all these hilarious exchanges between Wall and Waiters.
