The Boston Celtics were hoping to change their fortunes at home on Monday against the Phoenix Suns after losing the past two games at the TD Garden.
Unfortunately, Boston failed to execute when it mattered the most and suffered a 118-114 loss on Monday – their third consecutive loss at home.
Jeff Green did all he could to help his team to a victory with 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field. Included in his efforts were a pair of notable dunks – one against Eric Bledsoe who wisely moved out of the way, and another against Marcus Morris who couldn’t quite do the same:
Both dunks were just nasty, but the one against Morris was particularly impressive because of the situation of the game. Phoenix was leading 112-111 with about a minute remaining in the game before Green stole the ball from Bledsoe and went straight to the basket for the dunk and the lead.
The dunk received plenty of attention on twitter, but Morris didn’t mind at all:
Keep @ me with the green dunk over me getting my followers up lol

I suppose that’s one way to get more followers.
