Didn’t DeMarcus Cousins have a problem with Chris Paul early in his career because he thought the point guard was a “cheater“?
“It’s just, some players I don’t respect,” Cousins told Grantland. “Just their playing style of basketball. I don’t respect it. I feel like it’s basically cheating and I don’t respect a cheater. If that’s your tactic to winning, I don’t respect you.”
Those were his exact words, and it’s understandable when you see what Paul did to earn that reputation from the big man.
That said, look at what Cousins did during the third quarter in a contest between the Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings on Thursday:
That angle doesn’t do justice to how bad the flop really was, and you can see how angry Noah was when the ref got duped by it here.
So, what the hell, DeMarcus? You can’t say you dislike someone for being a cheater and then go out and do stuff like this. The center will likely get a warning from the league for his acting job.
Utah Jazz backup center Rudy Golbert also saw everything that went on and had this to say:
This flop deserves a tech — rudy gobert (@rudygobert15) November 21, 2014
I’m with you, Rudy.
