Steve Nash is known for a lot of things. Of course he was a two-time, back-to-back NBA MVP from 2004-05 and 2005-06, has led the NBA in assists per game in multiple seasons, and has the League’s best free throw shooting percentage of all time.
That’s not enough for Nash. He might want to be known for even more than that. Obviously, it will have to come off the court, since he’s out the entire year with a nerve issue in his back.
Unfortunately for Nash, his 19th season, and third with the Los Angeles Lakes, was over before it even started. One would assume that this may be the last we see of Nash as a player, due to his age and the seriousness of the injury. Hopefully for fans and players alike, he will continue his career in the NBA at another level.
On Friday though, his followers may have gotten a glimpse of his future plans, per his Instagram.
“Trying to learn to draw… Ha. This dog looks like my dad. Ok go ahead and kill me…”, he said about his drawing.
Okay, so maybe it’s not the best choice for him? Still, he has plenty of time to learn if this is his first attempt at learning to draw. It’s actually not that bad of a drawing.
However, the comparison of his dog to his dad, I’m not really sure what to think of that.
Whatever Nash is looking for after his brilliant career, you can’t help but wish him the best of luck and know that he’ll succeed. Look for his name in the artist/drawing circle in the future, and hope his dogs become more dog-like that dad-like.
