know. The photo of the day is not Rajon Rondo packing his bags and heading to Dallas to join in his new teammates. Nor is it Rondo in a Mavericks uniform. Yes, it’s a huge deal and shakes the entire Western Conference on it’s damn head, but that’s news that Chris Sheridan and our other writers have, and are going to tackle.
The reason why you ask, though? Because Carlos Boozer took a photo today that, in my opinion, is much cooler than Rondo in a uniform that we’re going to see him in for the next four plus months. This was a one time deal, and Boozer felt the exact same way I did.
Honestly, he probably didn’t. He doesn’t even know me or what I think of his picture with the coolest Santa Claus out West.
But he wouldn’t have posted this photo to his Instagram today if he didn’t think it was freakin’ sweet.
Santa? Is that you??
The beard is real. The glasses look real. The hat and suit look legit. Come on, he even has little pouches on his belt for storing toys and awesome poses inside.
But the stance for the camera?
…
That was me pausing for five minutes trying to find the words describe it. And I can’t. So that’s all I can really say about how awesome this is.
Carlos, thank you for this picture. And Santa? Thanks for bringing my holiday cheer early this Christmas.
