I know everyone, there’s so many Christmas related pictures recently. But it’s the holiday season, so you should be expecting this out of a photo category. We have another Santa Claus sighting in the NBA!
On Tuesday Danny Green of the San Antonio Spurs laced up the boots and the suit, and even got himself a nice fake beard like jolly old Saint Nick to give presents to family and children in need.
Green and the Spurs were hosting an event to give gifts for those who are less fortunate than others for the NBA Cares campaign.
Here’s a photo of him spreading some holiday cheer, which he posted to his Instagram on Tuesday.
“Was an honor delivering presents to these families and seeing all the smiles on the children’s faces…thank you Elf Louise
#nbacares #gospursgo”, said Green, captioned on his page.
But he wasn’t just doing this for free, you know. He was expecting something for himself as well.
“Still waiting on my cookies though lol…happy holidays”.
Of course he was just waiting for cookies! He’s Santa Claus, all he needs to deliver presents is milk and cookies.
Anyways, it’s an amazing act of kindness from Green. I’m glad we’re able to post a lot of charitable acts on the Photo of the Day, since the NBA does such a great job of it.
I really want some milk and cookies now though.
