Like I said yesterday, this week is dedicated to holiday traditions and holiday photos. No matter what your religion, it’s the time of year to celebrate and come together with family and friends.
Just like me and you, professional athletes look forward to the same traditions. Whether they’re on the road traveling or at home, they still enjoy and are very appreciative of the time they get to spend with their loved ones for the holidays thanks to their profession.
There were a few good Christmas trees I saw today from the players, and wanted to share them here with you on Christmas Eve. They seemed to be the most popular picture online, so that’s what I wanted to go with.
First up, here’s Mike Scott of the Atlanta Hawks putting the finishing touches on his tree. You’ll also notice his very festive pajamas he’s wearing while decorating. Pretty sure those are full body.
He posted the photo to his Instagram on Wednesday.
Next up is Detroit Pistons guard Jodie Meeks, who just shared his tree with his followers, not him wearing full body PJs. He posted this photo to his Instagram on Wednesday, letting us know just how excited he was for Christmas Day.
“Ready for tomm already!!”, Meeks captioned under the photo.
So is everyone else I’m sure!
And finally, and my favorite, Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kevin Love shared with us a picture of his parent’s tree via his Instagram. And wow, it looks amazing!!
“”The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.” Another year another perfect tree. Great work Mom. Merry Christmas!!”.
You’re not kidding! That tree looks like it should be on a postcard or on a calendar or something. It just doesn’t look real it’s so perfect.
Do you think she stole that from New York City or something? They always have those huge trees out with about a million lights on it.
They’re all my favorite, I was just joking. It’s because it’s the holiday season, and this is what it’s all about.
People have to work or travel or just flat out don’t have the family to celebrate with, so remember to be thankful and appreciate what you’ve got.
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Hope you all get what you want for Christmas/the holidays!
