Happy New Year everyone! It’s now officially 2015, and hopefully everyone had a safe and happy New Year’s celebration last night. It’s weird to think it’s 2015 already.
Let’s start the new year off with a few pictures that I found today. It’s also College Bowl Season, with the first ever college football playoffs starting on New Year’s Day.
First up was Eric Gordon at the Sugar Bowl, where Alabama took on Ohio State. He posted this photo to his Instagram on Thursday.
“Happy New Year! Allstate #SugarBowl! OSU vs Alabama… Loyal #Hoosier so I’ll rep the #BigTen in this one. Gonna be tough to stop that Roll Tide though.”
Thanks Eric, I’m a Buckeye so I’m with you on that!
Don’t forget, today was Throwback Thursday as well, and what a way to kick off 2015 from Ryan Anderson from this post to his Instagram.
“#tbt to this awkward looking 8th grader lol. Got buckets thoooooo! Happy 2015 Everyone!!!!!!”.
Thanks Ryan, but I don’t think “awkward” is the right accurate word here. Either way, that’s an awesome picture from the old days. Gotta love it when players aren’t afraid of their past for TBT.
Then I found some interesting photos from NYE parties that were posted Thursday after the fact.
Here’s one from Mo Speights, which I’m still trying to figure out is happening in the picture from Instagram.
“Joy remains a gift, never take it for granted!!! Happy New Years”.
He’s 100% right. Let’s not forget though that sometimes that joy is produced from the consumption of alcohol, am I right?
The last one for the day, and sorry for so many but there were a lot of good ones today, is the best.
From Robin Lopez on Instagram, this guy just seems like he’s such a nerd. Not that that’s a bad thing, because it’s not. It actually is extremely entertaining for this particular purpose.
“Spent NYE playing Character Clue with@thatguyryan12. I was the witless spoiled inheritor of dwindling Coconut money made in Tahiti… #ILost#ItsJustClueWithAccents”.
There’s too many ridiculous things in this picture to point out, and if you can’t see that, I feel bad for you. I believe everything this guy says, and it’s hilarious. Please never change RoLo!
But that’ll do it for New Year’s Day. I hope everyone had a great time and brought in 2015 the right way, and that it’s even better than 2014 was for you.
Happy New Year!
