I’m a fan of tattoos for the most part. If they’re meaningful, and there’s a purpose behind them, then I’m all for it and really like the idea of marking your body permanently.
However, when someone gets a tattoo of someone else’s face on their body, then I have to start wondering about their sanity.
DeAndre Jordan is a good basketball player. He’s a monster on the glass, and dunks anything within ten feet of the rim. And, as he should be, is a fan favorite out in LA.
One fan took that to a whole other level though.
It seems like he already knew about the gentleman with the tattoo, but it’s news to me, so that’s why I chose it for today. Jordan posted this photo to his Instagram on Friday.
“Had a great time at Commerce Casino today with everyone! Met my guy who got my face tattooed on him, Clipper starting five is next!!! #onefourteen”, Jordan captioned under the photo.
Yes, this is a real tattoo. And I apologize if this is old news, but it’s the first I’ve seen or heard of it, and it’s pretty hilarious. I mean, look at DJ’s expression. It’s half “what the hell is this guy thinking”, half “that’s really weird, why would he get my face on his body, let alone in that spot on his body”.
Ummmmm. Wow. If I were him, I’d probably more scared than anything else. That’s just creepy.
It’s great to be a fan, and obviously I’m a huge basketball fan myself, but I’d never get a player’s face/name/number tattooed on my body. ANYWHERE.
I just don’t know anymore. There’s a chance I’d get my favorite team tattooed on me in some way, but never a player’s face. Sorry if I’m in the minority here.
