Some major news broke on Tuesday when it was reported that Goran Dragic wants to be traded from the Phoenix Suns, and the team has agreed to meet his wish.
Now the question is, where exactly is the coveted point guard going to end up? According to Sam Amick of USA Today, there are seven teams on Dragic’s wishlist. No one knows exactly which teams are on that list, but multiple reports are suggesting the Los Angeles Lakers are on it. That’s really about the extent in which we know at this point, so the speculations have begun on twitter.
Here are a list of teams Bill Simmons of Grantland apparently doesn’t believe can land Dragic, at least with the assets they probably hope to use to acquire him:
I’d like to say hi to the Lakers fans who think they can steal Goran Dragic for Jordan Hill and a protected future 1st round pick.

I’d also like to say hi to the Knicks fans who think they can get Dragic for Bargnani and a protected 2018 1st rounder. — Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) February 18, 2015
And hello to the Miami fans who think they can get Dragic for Mario Chalmers, Danny Granger and a protected 1st in 2017.

I’d like to say hi to Boston fans who think they can get Dragic for Marcus Thornton and two protected 1st rounders. Wait that’s me! Hi me! — Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) February 18, 2015
The Thursday trade deadline is quickly approaching, so we’ll have an answer to this saga soon enough.
