Russia defeats Macedonia at buzzer; Eurobasket quarterfinals are set

Russia was the only team to go unbeaten during the first two rounds of the tournament, playing only one other close game — a one-point victory over Slovenia.

Here are the matchups for the quarterfinals (all times EDT) in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania:

Wednesday:

Spain vs. Slovenia, 1 p.m.

Macedonia vs. Lithuania, 4 p.m.

Thursday:

France vs. Greece, 1 p.m.

Russia vs. Serbia, 4 p.m.

The semifinals, which will determine the two teams earning Olympic berths, are Friday at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The championship game is Sunday at 4 p.m.
