Highlight Performances:
John Wall, WAS- Most owners have clearly been disappointed by Wall thus far. He has done little to provide the value that he was drafted for, and his team is miserable as well. But on Monday Night, Wall provided a stat line that we have been waiting for all along; 38 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. This comes as no surprise, as the former first overall pick has upside that is higher than the sky itself. But
is is still good to see him perform so well, and one can only hope there’s more to come.
Andrew Bogut, MIL- Sticking to first overall picks, Bogut finally had a solid performance for the Bucks. Although it wasn’t a huge night, it was strong enough and owners are very happy to see him back in the lineup and producing. After missing many games for various reasons, the 7-footer socred 20 points, grabbed 11 boards, and blocked 3 shots. This is the kind of production Bogut can put up on a nightly basis, so it was a good sign for his owners.
Performances to Forget:
Ray Allen, BOS- Ray is one of the greatest shooters of all-time. We know that. However, his fantasy value is quite complex. His upside in terms of scoring and 3 pointers is great, but when he is not posting great shooting numbers, he does not do much else. A perfect example is Monday Night, as he scored just 6 points on 2-7 shooting, and did very little else in terms of production (2 rebounds, 2 assists). If you can trade Allen to somebody that will pay full value for his name, I would suggest doing so.
Players to Watch:
Luke Rindour, MIN- After replacing Wayne Ellington at shooting guard, Rindour has posted very solid numbers. But he broke-out Monday Night, scoring 25 points, along with 9 assists and 4-4 from long range. With Love being the only other true scoring threat, and Ricky Rubio being the fantastic point guard he is turning out to be, Rindour could have some nice numbers in store for him in the future. If he’s still available in your league, I would definitely suggest adding him.
