Highlight Performances:
Chris Bosh, MIA– With Dwayne Wade out with an ankle injury, Chris Bosh figures to be the the primary beneficiary. He and James are the main options from this point, and it showed Tuesday Night. Bosh produced 30 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. Although having nights like this on a regular basis seems unlikely, he figures to see a spike in production for the time being.
Performances to Forget:
Richard Jefferson, SA– Jefferson has been having a solid season, especially from the 3-point line, since Manu Ginobili went down with his wrist injury. He has slowed down a bit as of late, but his performance on Tuesday Night was his worst. He scored 0 points, however, he did dish out 5 assists. Jefferson won’t put up doughnuts quite often, but owners are going to be quite disappointed following Tuesday Night’s performances.
Players to Watch:
C.J. Watson, CHI– In just his second game back, Watson started at point guard and scored 23 points, along with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Not only that, but he shot 8-12 from the field, as well as 3-3 from long range. The un-drafted player out of Tennessee should put up some nice numbers as long as Derrick Rose is out with toe injury, and is worth a short-term pickup for those in need.
Injury:
Monta Ellis, GS– Nose, Day-to-day
Jordan Hill, HOU– Flu, Day-to-day
Luke Rindour, MIN– Personal, Day-to-day
Jason Richardson, ORL– Knee, Day-to-day
Spencer Hawes, PHI– Achilles, Day-to-day
