And just when you thought the Jeremy Lin drama would start to fizzle, this happens. Steve Nash, alluding to the movie Like Mike where an orphan puts on a pair of shoes and suddenly dominates the NBA, could not have used a better example. This is becoming a fairy tale overnight, and there are just a million positives about it. Surely, the story is going to be aired on overkill, but Jeremy Lin is an absolute publicity machine for the NBA and the New York Knicks. He is in the biggest market in the country, he is extremely unique, and his road he traveled to where he is at now is as improbable as they get. How NBA scouts missed out on this kid is beyond me, but regardless, the Knicks seemed to have not only found their point guard of the future, but an absolute gold-mine for basketball and sports as a whole. This fairy tale seems to have no end in sight, and I have never been as excited for a player then I am for Lin. Truly inspirational, and incredibly entertaining.

And if the world didn't have 'Like Mike' I wonder how much Disney would pay for the movie rights?
