Although drawing some angry replies for misspelling Monta (he used Monte), I couldn’t agree more with King James. Monta Ellis, averaging 22 points and 6 assists a game, was snubbed from the All-Star game, and may be one of the biggest snubs there is. He scored 32 points in their win against the Clippers Monday night, and has been one of the most consistent scorers in the NBA this season. Although the rest of his game is moderate, Monta can ball, and drop 30 points with relative ease. Not getting even a bench spot on the All-Star squad says a lot about how much names have an affect on the voting, and players like Monta deserve much more consideration. Simply put, Monta should be an All-Star, and it’s a shame that he isn’t.
