No, this is not the Isaiah Thomas you’re used to; Not the former general manager and coach of the Knicks, nor the All-Star point guard for the Pistons. This is the breakout rookie for the Sacramento Kings who has been tremendous since becoming the starting point guard. After posting 23 points, eight rebounds, and 11 assists in his first start, he followed up with 24 points on 5-for-8 shooting from 3-point range, and five assists. Although the Kings fell to the Heat 120-108 on Tuesday, they are definitely showing a ton of promise for the future. Tyreke Evans, DeMarcus Cousins, Marcus Thornton, and now Isaiah Thomas are looking like a very strong four right now, and if Jason Thompson can get it together, this team can turn some heads in the Western Conference sometime down the road.
