Funny how far teams can fall in such a short amount of time. First, Jeremy Lin explodes, and the Knicks go on a massive win streak. Then they sign J.R. Smith, one of the bigger free agents on the market, and finally get their entire team healthy. And at last, they reach .500, with a record of 18-18 on the year. But instead of getting over the hump and posting a winning record, they dropped five straight to fall to 18-23. Defense seems to be the problem with the Knicks, and the Sixers absolutely shredded them today. Not only that, but elite point guards seem to have their way with Jeremy Lin almost every single game. I don’t like the road the Knicks are headed towards right now, and I think D’Antoni is going to be the first one to go.
