“The Picker” has been on duty for five days.
He hit his only pick yesterday as the Thunder covered a 13-point spread against the Raptors.
His record improved to 5-3-1.
Frankly, I am unimpressed.
“The Picker” is a guy I chat with often on Twitter who likes to pick NBA games against the spread. He has been on a tremendous run the past couple months, and I dared him to publish his picks prior to the games for a couple weeks to put his talents to the test. (We’ll see how this guy does over the next couple of weeks, and keep his record updated each day. Do what you want with his information, but understand that we do not condone or endorse illegal gambling. For those of you in Nevada or outside of the United States, different standards apply.)

I do not gamble on basketball (though I tried it in Vegas in January for the first time), but I can spot a gimme when I see one, and I’ve been seeing quite a few on the board (the oddsmakers seem to think every Spurs game will be roughly as high-scoring as every Kings game, when Sacramento stinks and San Antonio does not). I just checked today’s spreads, and I see two that appear to be easy covers. I will discuss with “The Picker” later today, and his picks will be up by 6 p.m. EDT.

If you go 5-3-1 in Vegas consistently, you’re one of top sharks in Vegas. Sheridan you must have no idea how the sports betting game works. 55 to 60% makes you a damn expert. “unimpressed”?? If you went with the Picker’s “picks”…..you’ve been making money. Isn’t that the point? Good luck finding someone who consistently hits 75% of their picks, because that person doesn’t exist.
