Along with Heat fans throughout South Florida and around the world, “The Picker” is cursing LeBron James this morning for missing a late free throw in regulation that likely would have allowed the Heat to defeat the Bulls and cover the spread.
Instead, overtime happened and the Bulls reserves kicked Miami’s kiester, contributing to a disappointing 1-1 night that moved “The Picker”‘s record to 11-7-1.
He also had the Clippers giving 7 1/2 points to the Wolves, and that pick hit.
Tonight, there is a bigger slate of games to choose from — and maybe we’ll see the picker take a stab at the Bobcats, which he hasn’t done yet in nine nights of making selections on this site.
You can check our Scores and Statistics tab that includes an “Odds” section that shows which lines have moved, and by how much. The Heat-Bobcats game opened at 16 and had dropped to 15 1/2 — one of the largest lines we’ve seen all season.
Some background for those of you new to this site feature.
I do a lot of conversing with followers via direct messaging on Twitter, even though I only follow one guy.
“The Picker” has been sending me messages throughout the season when he has been particularly good with his picks, which is quite often. So I challenged him to make his picks public, and we’d see where going down that road together would take us. So stay tuned.
