For anyone who hasn’t seen yet, here’s the video of what Metta World Peace did to James Harden. Although World Peace claimed it was accidental, I’m not too sure how much of that to believe. His elbow was clearly thrown violently, and he followed through with the smash. The issue is do we treat the situation differently because of his track record? This is not the first time World Peace has had his face on sports news for all the wrong reasons. There is no doubt in anyone’s eyes that this will result in some sort of a suspension, regardless of its intentional nature or not. The Lakers won the game, but losing World Peace for any extended period of time can really hurt the depth of their team. It remains to be seen how significant a penalty he receives.

Metta World Peace apologized for what he called an "unfortunate" and "unintentional" elbow on Harden. "I hope he's OK," he said.
