Those of you who have been reading this site all season have no doubt enjoyed playing in our fantasy freerolls every Friday, having a chance to win real cash without risking a penny.
Well, just because the NBA regular season is over does not mean the freerolls are ending.
Quite the contrary.
The freerolls are now going to be two-day events, and the first one of the postseason begins today.
If you are unfamiliar with the rules, here they are:
You start with an imaginary salary cap of $100,000, and you have to pick eight players — two centers, two forwards, two guards and two utility players. You receive 2 points for every steal or blocked shot, 1.5 points for every assist, 1.25 points for every rebound and 1 point for every point your players score.
You lose a half-point more every missed shot, and you lose 1 point for every turnover.
To enter this weekend’s freeroll, click here. The prize pool is $250 cash, and DraftStreet will pay you via PayPal, snail mail, or anything in between.
Good luck, and I will post my lineup here this afternoon when the playoff action gets underway.
As this is a fantasy contest, it is a game of skill and not a game of chance, and thus is legal unless you live in Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Vermont or Puerto Rico, in which case you should contact your state assemblyman or write a letter to your Governor.
