The Knicks got blown out (literally) today in Miami, losing 100-67. Sadly enough, the game was worse then the score even showed. Carmelo Anthony did nothing, Novak couldn’t find any space, and the Knicks were just a collective mess. However, regardless of the outcome, I would have held out hope for the Knicks. If they could take Game 2 in Miami, they would be in pretty decent shape, and anything could happen. But with Shumpert out, I pretty much lost all hope. He is critical to their defense, and their main point guard with Lin out. This injury is just as deflating as Derrick Rose’s, but the Bulls at least have done this before. The Knicks are in bad shape, and at this point, they may be placed on sweep alert.
