For any of you out there who thought the Celtics are dead in the water, well, your wrong. And before I say anything else, let me just say that Rajon Rondo, as talented as he is, has the clutch factor. He wants the ball in his hands, and is deadly right now in the playoffs. Shocking thing is, Rondo is apparently a shooter now, hitting long jumpers consistently that he rarely even ATTEMPTED during the regular season, let alone sink. On another note, if Garnett and Pierce can step up and play in the ballpark of their prime, the Celtics are the better team (and that’s no guarantee) . And I’m saying that without even including what Ray Allen can potentially provide. LeBron and Dwayne Wade are outstanding, I know. But the rest of the Heat team is pedestrian, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this series evens out to 2-2, then 3-2 Celtics.
Tweet of the Night: Chris Palmer
BIG performances by some Celtics tonight: KG 24pts/11rebs, Rondo 21/10/6, Pierce 23/4/4.

The tweet of the night is repeating part of the box score? Must not have been much on Twitter…

Keep dreaming. I see your logic, but you can’t escape the glaring 30-FA swing in favor of the Celtics. Wade and Lebron got 35 fouls against them last game and 5 this game…in Boston? Forget it. So nobody fouled Wade all night? Riiiight. What that does to Wade – as much as I disagree and dislike it – is mess up his game. He still managed a modest line, but should he have gone only a couple times and made even half of those, he would have been in a better rhythm and alone changed the game a decent amount. And Lebron was only fouled 3 times with his line, as physical as he is after getting 24 called in his favor last game?? Even more glaring. The refs did the Celts a favor. That’s all it was. Even with the Heat’s poor shooting. When you play the game and consistently don’t get fouls called your way it psychs you out. They (Heat) know it will not be this way the rest of the series. Heat will win the next two.

Its funny you just admitted Wade and Lebron need the refs to favor them to win haha the Heat are a joke

They just need it called straight. It wasn’t called straight last night. Plenty of media people- most of whom aren’t exactly Heat fans- have mentioned that.
Miami didn’t lose because of the refs (hell, if they got more free throws they probably would have missed them anyway) but anyone saying that Miami sucks at basketball or only wins when the refs favour them just doesn’t know anything about basketball. They’re a very, very good basketball team but basically need two of the Big Three to be big every night, and while Bosh is out that means Wade and James need to play well every night. James by himself can’t cancel out all of Rondo, Garnett and Pierce.
