Jermaine O’Neal, a prep-to-pro himself, has always been in favor of letting high school players come straight to the NBA and often expresses his displeasure of the rule change, in which a player must be at least one year (not two) removed from high school to enter the draft. He wonders why an 18-year-old can vote and go to war, but can’t choose his livelihood in the NBA. The once-dominant big man further expressed his thoughts on the matter today, as you can see in the tweet above. It is, in fact, a subjective matter, so feel free to chime in with your take on the on-going issue.
