Tweet of the Night goes to Roy Hibbert, who shared a video of what he learned in his Mixed Martial Arts training session on Thursday. Clearly, he is a center you do not want to mess with.
Hibbert improved his game all around last season, though it may be hard to tell by looking at just the statistics alone. With the acquisition of David West, the improved game of Paul George and leading scorer Danny Granger on the team, opportunities were harder to come by for the ever-improving center. He did step up his game in the playoffs, averaging 11.7 points, 11.2 rebounds and a whopping 3.1 blocks per game in 11 playoff games.
With Dwight Howard moving over to the West Coast, Hibbert has the chance to be one of the best centers in the East, but he will have some new competition against 76ers center Andrew Bynum, who has also been known to train with boxing coach Freddie Roach during the offseason.
