Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade, making the TV talk show rounds to promote his new book, dropped a huge piece of information about his personal life Wednesday.
Appearing on CBS This Morning and fielding questions from co-host Gayle King for about 5 1/2 minutes, Wade was asked by King whether a union with Union was in his future plans.
“I wouldn’t be with her if I didn’t see her as a future Mrs. Wade,” Wade told King. “When the time is right, the time is right.”
You can see Wade revealing his intentions at about the 4:40 mark of the video below.
Wade didn’t commit to any sort schedule, explaining to King that his relationship with Union is “still growing.”
Wade’s book is entitled, “A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball.” In the book, he provides an honest, inside look at the highly public, often ugly but successful custody battle for his two sons with his high school sweetheart and ex-wife Siovaughn.
The book tour began Tuesday and runs through Sept. 22, making stops in New York, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington.
Wade also told King he is ahead of schedule in his recovery from offseason knee surgery.
