Today the super storm known as Sandy hit the east coast and NBA players were not exempt from its wrath.
Brooklyn Nets backup forward-center Andray Blatche sent out an update on the weather conditions from his neighborhood earlier Monday afternoon.
Even though it has been declassified, first from a hurricane to a tropical storm…then from a tropical storm to post-tropical, the storm’s impact is quite drastic.
Weather Channel storm update .
There have been high-speed winds all throughout the mid-Altantic and northeast regions of the United States. Some people are already experiencing power outages and flooding in many areas, as Blatche can attest.
The President of the United States Barack Obama is keeping vigilant eye on the status of the northeast as the storm’s impact continues to affect the east coast.
While many will continue to endure the effects of this storm, those of us who are far from the storm can still help.
The American Red Cross is accepting donations for hurricane relief efforts.
