Another way to pass time…video games. Not cell phone games—although they may be popular—Xbox games.
That is how Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard Wesley Matthews gets down.
Even Blazers teammate and backup rookie center Meyers Leonard had to give Matthews props.
That’s a great way to travel; passing time while playing the latest Batman video game on your portable Xbox system.
If anything, the Xbox is providing Matthews a well-deserved respite after the Blazers’ hard fought 116 – 106 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in their season opener. He contributed 22 points with four three-pointers and four steals in the victory.
The flight is headed to the midwest, to Oklahoma City where the Blazers will face the defending Western Conference champion Thunder on Friday.
That should be one of the marquee games of the night.
